There are social networks these days to cover just about any niche or interest that you may have. This includes financial matters like investing and stock trading. MyWallSt.net is just a site like this. If you are into investing and want to bounce ideas off of other like-minded folks then there are plenty here. You can setup your profile, make new online friends and all of the other nifty social networking that comes along with a site like this.
The main reason you may want to head over there, however is that they have something called the rookie challenge. This is a fantasy investment game. That’s right a game. You use virtual cash to trade stocks from real companies. This is a really great educational tool that can a) allow novice traders to test the waters without any risk or b) let veteran traders evaluate new strategies. In any case… it’s FREE. Sign up for free, setup your stock profile and get
trading with $100,000 virtual dollars. As if that’s not a good enough deal, at the end of trading every Friday evening (after 5:00 PM) the rookie trader with the highest percent gain and a total equity greater than $100,000 is declared winner for the week for cash prizes up to $1,000.
